Displaying Root Skills
At Albert street, we observe children as they play. When we observe children displaying a root skill, we take photos, and document the observed ELECT root skill. We later show case the photos with an explanation of the root skill on a colourful bulletin board. Since English is their second language, photos and a simple point-form explanation of the root skill is the best way for the parents to understand how their young children learn and develop.
